Christian David Gebauer (Oct. 15, 1777 - 1831) was a Danish painter, esp. noted for his animal and landscape paintings. He studied in Dresden, became a member of the Danish Academy, and the year before his death, a professor of Art in Denmark’s second city, Århus.
