okay, have to do it. Not for nothing, but a mirror setup for the 360 camera forces it into a single image from one intake of light. The reason I didn't suggest it instead I told you about these things was it would look like a pen is & or similar. It has to have the lens ripped off & out & or a new one added on top of the old one with a proper mirror that is quite hemisphere & oblong in shape thanks to needing a lens pointed at the spot you intend to shoot. Which, with the tube being barely needed, it makes the stick look like it grew some protrusions that have gained some shaped tubes on them.
Practically a near perfect phallic shape just to have the insta 360 work as a single shot without the warping at full res & high speed framerate. The parts, while yes do exist & can be found cheaply, would have taken some time to adapt to a large format to medium format size of light needed for it after multiple reflections & lenses it had to pass through, making it a rather phallic & expensive set up, in the end.
I would have eventually suggested to you as you went on getting several, because you're already in it for that amount, why not just force them to record in an phased offset timing to use it for up to a 1200 frame per second 4k footage of 5 phallic cameras all positioned from one single large format (if not more like telescope) lens to then get all that light to each camera for the same image.
Oh, right, then you have to edit each frame for each 240 to then be placed 1,1,1,1,1 to 2,2,2,2,2 to 3,3,3,3,3... etc. Which, maybe you know of a program for that, but I don't.
It requires wiring up all 5 of those cameras, as well, which takes a mount, which takes them to the point of all that plus a big huge lens. Heavy. But it could have been yeeted off the side in a flower faring like design, maybe even a crown chuck.
All of it would have been too expensive & more thank likely not worth it for you & your setup. Which, is why I know you stalked me on those other posts & used this setup as it would already have been a pain & while do-able, still worked.
Maybe, instead of all that, the people who look into the tumblr bios link for those comments will rabbit hole into those other posts. Evidence is terrible when it exists in plain site.
Yes, it was designed around the fact that you have only so much time to dedicate to any given part of your project, if you spent a stupid amount of time working on the camera & its optics it would have ended up being something that would have taken far too long to get to.
A taper fiber optic, like in those old posts, could have worked, after playing with multiple mirrors & needing a new lens that has to have the correct distance survive through all of the g load & shock, requiring testing & more. You would have decided to not do it, which knowing that you were obviously going to steal the design & use it without crediting I used this to make sure you could get it done. Each point is easy enough, for you & your stim for you adhd, to then go to the next goal & then find the next solution.
Standard stepping of longer term planning & goal making.
as for the previous comment, want that rocket blast? Think you'll do this? Well?
Remember when I told you I'd write what that was about in the future after you made these videos? That's obvious.
Yes, we've all seen you make the smaller one. A incorrect gyroscope rotating lens, to even mirrors would have been a difficult problem to take on, even with friends. Taper fiber optics laid out on a pcb board isn't easy either, neither is fuse welding them into place & having them work by using the new lens you have.
Deal with being unable to do certain things & being known to steal my designs already & then stalk me to use them. You joined your friends on that one. I'm going to finish watching this after walking my dog first & getting some food.
This is going on tumblr like many other newer comments, all going over this going on with me & having you become a part of my art piece.
Edit 1
cool cool, lets see that nose cone! show me what you working with lol! I know its already past it, but tassels might have helped out as well on the streamer, smaller fibers that are willing to continuously rotate in the air with vortex like fashions tend to increase drag a bit more & can even still have small grids attached to them to act as tiny nets that spin & vibe to slow movement down harder.
They've been shown to be really great for spiders, super cute stuff. They also fly/float 1000's of miles using this kind of technique. You're just trying to slow something down. Imagine it, 1000+ miles away & you have to drive to get that thing! lol, omg! would suck.
thin mesh, with a crop top mesh shirt like that has thread bear cloth tends to work really well. Paragliding means controls that let you land it on a run way. & a faring that can house the cameras. Even tiny little wheels & or sliders (skis) to help it land. They're in multiples of my designs on my channel.
The boat like u shape allows for the internal part to have the paragliding part be there strapped to the hinges, although there are multiple ways to do it. Wheels are a great rudder controller when they can rotate to have them inline with the direction of travel of air or not. Wheels are small, tend to be heavy, rotate-able. easy to make it always work. sliders make for heated parts that have to fit slide-y tolerances that suck to keep correct. Obviously, wheels are easier, skis are better in terms of weight.
Oh no! Did this flaring out jig from the faring pop out?! My camera peacock move has happened, what ever will I do with all my footage?!
No credit, I kill you. Many random final destination things occur all the time.
edit 2
The faring happens to contain the slide-y lens inside of it, the peacock move flares out moving the lens from inside to the cameras below, spinning it like a top; I figured you guys already would know that considering you actually make rockets & wouldn't need me saying anything. But my mind is saying you thought you got me in a gotcha moment.
Weight on one side helps with ballistic trajectory, keeping the nose pointed in a given direction. The multiple sections turn into a larger U shape from a scrunchy U shape, like multiple U shapes together into a bigger U shape, after spinning down & releasing back into the faring to help as ballast weight.
