i love how from scene fucking one, dean winchester was a psycho borderline disaster. doesn't lead with knocking on sam's door, no, he has to BREAK IN, and not even say "hey it's dean," he has to wrestle sam to the ground, and then when he sees jess (clearly sam's partner) he immediately ogles her, tells her she's out of sam's league, tells her he likes her partially undressed, puts his claim on JESS' "boyfriend", and guilt trips sam to come with him, GOD I FUCKING LOVE DEAN WINCHESTER AND HIS RAGING ISSUES. unfortunately as someone whose stability is on thin fucking ice, i recognize how weird dean is because that's how i think when i'm not being particularly sane.

yknow what they never mention with enmeshment is that even once you're out, you're gonna try to replicate that dynamic with everyone you ever love, because that's what love looks like to you, and anything less feels pale and shallow in comparison. after you've been knitted so close to someone you were almost in their skin, distance sometimes feels like an unbearable punishment. lmao.
