Boy Stephen (Baby Boy Stephen to his friends), also performing as M|O|O|N is a self-taught producer living in Los Angeles, diametrically opposed to his Boston home. Over there, when he was about 14, he started his musical quest from scratch, and followed it religiously : first venturing into DJing, he then tried a couple of remixes of tracks he liked that finally lead him to make original material, all by himself. When he get a bit older and that beats finally took total control of his body and soul, he dropped out of high school, becoming the first person in the Gildarde family to say thanks but no thanks (maybe in a ruder way) to secondary education.

Today, he’s hitting the road of sunny California, headphones on with plenty of cool sounds including Londoner Mr G, Ninja Tunes’ recruit Floating Points, Boreal and everything that can be found on Ultramajic lately. And Louisahhh!!!’s stuff, on Bromance. Speaking of which, he met Louis and Myd, two years ago, through mutual friends and joined the comp with Drumtraicks, one of the first tracks under his moniker Boy Stephen, “definitely made to be played out” in his own words. Well, he’s laid his cards on the table. However, keep a close eye on him in the upcoming year, he’s got a bunch more Boy Stephen material coming out and also a debut album with his main project M|O|O|N.
