brigitte doesnt always know what the cosplays are for bc she’s not as much into media stuff like hana is, but she has fun anyway bc hana’s having fun. she does try to get a basic knowledge on most of the stuff hana gets really into, and listens to her infodump about them!
McHanzo headcanon: when Jesse and Genji were in Blackwatch together, Genji taught him Japanese (mostly pointed him in the direction of good learner books & was a conversational partner to practice verbal skills). Then, when Hanzo joins Overwatch after the recall, and he first meets McCree, Hanzo leans over to Genji and says in Japanese, "You told me he was a dork, you didn't tell me he was a HOT dork." And Jesse, of course, understood everything. :D
