However I was wondering what that means in regards of posting/sharing it. When you finish a commission piece, do you publish it to your own blog and tag whoever commissioned it, like I've seen others do? Or do you message the art privately to that person and no one else is meant to see it?

Honestly I'm hard pressed to find a single character in this game that I dislike kjdsfhskjdfh. Everyone's so human feeling and so fascinating and almost-real.

I love Trench, and I really wish we could've seen more of him, both pre- and during the Hiss. I would've loved to see him as an agent, and as the new Director. I have really no basis for it, but I feel like the Trench we talk to in the Hiss dream really is Trench (I have a whole hairbrained theory abt how kjdhfkjhdsfh)

Marshall, same deal about seeing her early days-- I think she's a lot more caring than people give her credit for, and it comes out as hardness because she's been so much and made herself the one to make hard decisions and be stalwart. Just like with anyone, I have qualms with some of her choices, but I easily see how she made them-- everyone's super human-feeling, like I said.

Gosh I don't even know, I'm just excited to have it! I would love to see some furthering of Alan's character and emotional state because I'm always attached to those kinds of developments, and I found the Alan Wake DLC and him in AWE very relatable.

I've always had a hunch that he might end up an inadvertent villain, or even a villain but not out of want, but narrative necessity. It would be really bittersweet and interesting to explore.

I wanna see Rose and Sarah Breaker and Alice so bad! I would love to see a camera game mechanic of some kind (both the idea of a photomode and a camera being used in game for game purposes-- though idk if 'photomode' and 'survival horror' go together). And Mr. Scratch, that wonderful horrid grody dude. Wanna see him up to his general shenanigans again.

Seeing the Alan Wake world in the newest graphics Remedy has is gonna be beautiful. And the music! I'm ready.

23. — plastic

Alan Wake finds himself thinking his own thoughts as a narrative. Not a drop of ink finds paper, but the words flow unrelenting.

I found myself sliding through each memory, doubt gnawing and consuming what little of me was left. I was standing in a barn, shining a flashlight into beams. I was following Barry down a darkened forest road. I was in New York, utterly alone in my dark apartment. I was in the desert, watching stars crash to earth. I was watching Alice, bag up my things in plastic bags, placing them in banker boxes. I was holding a shoe box in my hand.

Something cold and sudden pulls his consciousness back into his body, sliding into his head and mouth and teeth with a frigid cold. There's a shoebox in his hand. He tries to grasp the memories fleeting away from him. There's vague shapes, images-- glimmers of light and color and faces he thinks he knows, before they're gone, like mist. Plot lines, fading. But the shoebox remains in his hand.

He pulls another slip of paper out, carefully lining it up on the desk in front of him, observing his poem. If only he could always write like this. Maybe then he'd be finished.

Just plastic.

He turns back to the shoebox full of scraps.
