Knowledge (local) DC15: A brothel run by a human barbarian5 named Lep, a former adventurer who purchased the building and some bedslaves to work there (from Waterwend) after his last big score, and does his own bouncing. He has a dozen whores (10 girls and 2 boys), all locked into silver collars embossed with the brothel's name. He charges 1 silver piece for an hour, or 1 gold piece for the night. He has only two paid employees: the bartender and Portia, a former slave of his who was freed by the Wayfinders after they won her as the prize for 1420's Dragonboat race (an event orchestrated by them so that she could publically accuse and testify against Leeman Kendling as a free woman). After being given her freedom, Portia took a job doing what she used to (she's good at it, doesn't mind the work itself, and gets to maintain her client-base) and rented the room she used to use from Lep. 

Knowledge (local) DC15: A fine goods shop (nice clothing, trinkets, gilded and bejeweled scabbards, etc) run by the tallfellow halfling aristocrat1 and effeminate dandy Alton Hilltop, the son of a wealthy merchant who works for the Three Houses. His assistant is a human expert1 clerk named Gorley, who is actually a slave purchased by Alton in Waterwend, though he is very well-treated and both consider each other to be almost family.

Bardic Knowledge DC10: Alton foolishly struck out on his own to open the shop despite the paucity of wealthy residents in Bowhery, and makes very few sales. He's very proud, but the locals here think he's a bit of a buffoon.

Knowledge (religion) DC15: Frequented by adventurers passing through, to pray for safe travels. The priests change periodically, depending on whichever ones are in town. The common room is often full of travelers swapping stories and sharing news from distant towns, while prayer services are held outside in view of the horizon. Duties: 10gp/month tithe, 3 days/month performing religious services or help to travelers, observe all of Fharlanghn's holy days, provide spellcasting services to supplicants (20% of payment goes to church) and free aid to travelers, accept quests given by church leaders.

Knowledge (local) DC15: Bowhery's most popular church, presided over by a human cleric8 of Pelor named Terrapin, who is very charitable and helps the peasants as best he can. A few acolytes serve under him, as well as a half-elf sorceress2/cleric3 of Pelor underpriestess named Mialee. The clerics and acolytes wear yellow robes, and hold worship services every Godsday. The following organization details apply for those wishing to join the church:
