You are directly responsible for the deaths of 6 men, in addition to the safety of everyone on the FOB to which you were posted.

You willingly deserted your brothers in arms, to the enemy, expecting them to welcome you with arms open.

I have no sympathy for you, I will not lose any tears or sleep, no matter how extreme your sentencing is. You betrayed your brothers, the people of the United States, and every people and culture that believe in freedom without persecution.

Shame on you, I hope your trial is swift, you have wasted enough of the American Taxpayer’s money. According to the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which you answer to, death by hanging is an appropriate punishment for desertion during time of war.
