Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 8 slices of cooked bacon. 1/4 cup bourbon. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup diced onion. 1/4 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup lettuce leaves. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties. Preheat grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or to your desired level of doneness. Top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese during the last minute of cooking. In a saucepan, combine bourbon, brown sugar, ketchup, and diced onions. Simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens into a jam-like consistency.
