Pimiento Cheese-Bacon Burgers are a tasty change from the usual cheeseburger. You can really taste the difference in these burgers with the pimiento cheese spread and the bacon. Great for a barbecue on the weekend or any burger night!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 8 slices of bacon. 1 cup grated cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tbsp diced pimientos. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for garnish.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat. 4 burger patties of the same size should be made from the ground beef. Add salt and pepper to each patty. After cooking the bacon until it's crispy, put it on paper towels to soak up any extra grease. For medium-rare, grill the burger patties for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or longer if you like them more done. Put the grated cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, diced pimientos, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl and mix them together. This will make the pimiento cheese spread. Before the burgers are done, put the buns on the grill and toast them for a minute or two until they get a little brown. Put together the burgers by putting a lot of pimiento cheese on the bottom bun, then a cooked burger patty and two slices of bacon on top. You can put lettuce, tomato, and onion slices on top if you want to. Lastly, put the top bun on top of the burger that you just made. Serve right away.
