There's heavy Venus Flytrap imagery here.

Here's something interesting about them, venus flytraps actually smell really sweet, have obviously very bright colours and very sweet nectar, all the allures of a regular flower. That's the trick because unlike regular flowers their nectar actually causes the insects who drink it to become drunk, causes winged insects to be unable to fly and not winged ones to be unable to safely move away. Eventually causing the bugs, in their drunken state, to knock into the trigger hairs and therefore activate the trap.

This is very interesting considering what we know about how Eternal Sugar convinces cookies to stay, using a sweet scent to draw monsters in and attack those who leave.

I also find the flytraps interesting because they distinctly appear in the cutscene after this all gets revealed and just before Sugar traps Hollyberry in her jewellery box.
