if you get an ask or comment that sends this message [or something along the same lines] then please do not interact with that account and please do not panic, they’re trying to scam you lol, ive gotten loads of this exact message from multiple accounts and ive seen other people have been getting it too.
if you’re curious, some of the telltale signs in the message itself is it’s intentionally vague and gives off a sense of urgency to draw you in and make you more likely to engage and less likely to think about what you’re being sent [also notable that they encourage YOU to dm THEM as a dm would be easier to ignore but this whole weirdness kinda stokes your curiosity]. The accounts themselves - or at least all the accounts that have sent *me* this - always only have reblogs from one date and literally nothing else, like these scam bots have learned to put a *few* posts to make you think they’re legit [and probably because they don’t expect anyone to try to scroll all the way through] but the post backlog never really goes further back than that one date which is unlikely for a real tumblr user’s account
anyway yeah, sorry to ramble lmao. tldr this message is a scam, ignore anyone who sends you this and don’t worry! there’s nothing horribly wrong going on that you’re somehow unaware of
