Meet random assortment of numbers. Or at least that is what his OKC profile said his name was. This was my first date after a long put off return to the dating world. You have to start somewhere and I started with him. 

We agree, after just a couple of messages are exchanged, to meet in Williamsburg at a cool bar serving cool drinks to people who make cool choices about makeup and clothes. I'm not that cool but hey, he's probably paying so he gets to choose.

Why is it that the guy never really looks like the pictures? Do have I have some optical disability wherein I can't translate 2D images properly to 3D versions? He is, unsurprisingly, shorter and less good looking. At least he has all his hair. Within seconds I know this is going no where. 

Two drinks are ordered and we spend the next hour listening to him talk. I assume he could hear himself but upon further reflection maybe not. He droned. I think thats the descriptive term to use. He droned on about himself, his great finance job, his life in Billyburg. 

The waitressed asked if we wanted another, I said no too fast. A few minutes after that I was out, thinking to myself that he was the reason people say Williamsburg has jumped the shark.
