Ah I saw you're curious about other people's favorite words and I love words too and actually have a huge ongoing list... But a few of my favorites are penchant, melancholy, gorgeous, semblance, aegis, tintinnabulation ((a word my 11th grade English teacher didn't know...ah...)), halcyon, and miasma... But I have so many more oh geez. These are just a smattering... Words are the best. <3

eeep those are all such good ones!! (oh no to the english teacher, i had my 6th grade core teacher argue with me about how to spell independent it’s why i now forever remember that there are only ‘e’s in it XD)
melancholy especially has such a lovely sound to it, and semblance bc it’s the best meaning, it’s such a cunning word if that makes sense??
