Spent alone

In the bedroom

With the lights turned off

The house sleeps

As they should,

I reckon

It's past eleven

Earphones plugged in

Don't want to disturb anyone

But never completely alone

Oh no definitely not

Angels and heathens

Crossroad demons

With shady deals

Two brothers set

On a journey down

The road, ever so familiar

From Heaven to Hell

All's well that ends well

And then we have doctors

And little blue boxes

Which never obey

The laws of physics

A journey through space and time

With dangers and thrills

Behind it all an amazing man

Try and name him if you can

Ah! It's a murderer!

Here comes a detective with his blogger

Stolen ID's and riding crops

All come too easy

A bit of fun here and there

Then comes the problem

He has to solve tonight

With all his wit and might

So, you see

Nights alone aren't that bad

For a simple journey like this one

Is all that might be needed by someone.
