I really hope that they are just keeping her safe on the Sanctuary 3 for now or reveal that she has been on some kind of training quest to get stronger.

I don't want them to just go "oh this was shit the players did not like that lets just cut her out and replace her" when they could take the much more interesting route of redeeming her by.....giving her character growth.

I hope wherever Ava is, she's as far away as possible from the Crimson Raiders because why the hell would they decide to leave her to command them 😭 like bro, she was just a kid... Hopefully she's learning to be a badass siren and all that instead of babysitting a bunch of nobodies.

As for Tannis, I hope she's somewhere nice and cozy getting a lobotomy because stanning Typhon DeLeon should be a universal crime /hj

Maybe even a redeemed Tyreen Calypso revealing she turned good after taking Ava with her when Maya died and having a conversation with her in captivity about why destroying the universe means she’ll be alone forever. The result is Tyreen turning against Troy and leading to Troy becoming the main villain of Borderlands 3 in that universe while Tyreen patches her relationship with Typhon. Troy becomes the Destroyer where he dies. Tyreen on the other hand continues being a streamer but also a vault hunter with her and Ava being like BFF’s and she’s twice as funny now.

I can see a retcon revealing another Aurelia had access to the phase since childhood and would bully Alastair and leave then made it to adulthood revealing that it was the Aurelia we see in Borderlands 3. The actual Aurelia or Prime Aurelia is still a vault hunter but has caught heat for the stuff the other Aurelia did.

This was supposed to be for Mermay, but I got sick towards the end whoops. Anyways Mermay with the Borderlands Sirens but as actual sirens. And yes I’m adding Rhys, I love the Au where he’s secretly a siren like come on.

AU time: Sirens are their own race of mermaids that many people fear due to their powerful nature. They “guard” Eridian found at the bottom of the ocean, so many people try to befriend them in hopes of getting to the previous mineral. My lil thought for this is how Angel came to be. Handsome Jack may have seduced her mother or something along the lines idk

To the fish parts: I started off picking fish that best resembles the Sirens aesthetic but later changed it to which sea creature better matches with their abilities and it was a lot of fun.

Steele - barracuda; I couldn’t find info on her abilities so I just did one that matches her personality and name.

Lilith - fire hawkfish; matches her alias and her color scheme.

Tannis - spotted torpedo; this is where I begin picking fish that matches their abilities. Because she has angel’s tech powers, I picked the spotted torpedo that can shock its prey.

Maya - sea Angel; picked this one due to its cool mucus net it spits out when catching prey and it was the closest thing I could find for her phaselock. Fly high maya

Ava - sea butterfly; same way of hunting as the sea Angel and she has the same abilities so ya.

Angel - glass knifefish; another electric fish but it had a soft color pallet that I thought would match Angel more

Amara - peacock mantis shrimp; these dudes punch with the power of the sun and are known to break fingers and tanks. It was a no brainer picking this guy for Amara and for a flashy little guy I thought he fit Amara’s big personality.

Tyreen - lamprey; she absorbs the life force out of people and this dude is known for sucking the blood out of its prey. It’s right there

Troy - angler fish; the male sticks onto the female and leech off of them I thought it fit perfectly

Rhys - electric eel; I feel like he would have a tech ability similar to Angel so electric eel

The Dimension Debacle Part 2

The skies over Pandora are quiet, as usual. Every so often a cloud may drift by, but other than that there’s nothing worth seeing.

Then all of a sudden there’s a bright flash. Nobody on the ground would be able to see it, but outside the planet’s atmosphere, a ship has suddenly appeared. It’s dark and powerless and falls towards the planet, pulled in by the gravity.

Pieces of it break off as it burns through the atmosphere and plummets to the surface, crashing into the desert. The lights remain off. Is anyone home?

Inside Sanctuary III, FL4K’s servos reboot and their optics light up. They find themselves lying on the floor of Moxxxi’s, looking at the faces of Mr. Chew and Hermes.

“Away, beasts,” they order as they sit up. Hermes scampers off as Mr. Chew sits diligently at his master’s side.

Nearby, Moze, Zane, and Amara also wake up, groaning as they rise, rubbing their aching heads.

“What the hell happened?” Moze asks.

“No idea,” Amara replies.

“Moxxi, you alright?” Zane asks.

“Yes,” she replies as she stands up behind the bar, rubbing her head. “Ugh, like a hangover without the party.”

“Why’s it dark?” Amara asks.

“The ship must’ve lost power,” FL4K suggests.

“We better check things out,” Moze declares. “Moxxi, stay here.”

She nods as the Vault Hunters leave the bar.

The floor is uneven, tilted slightly downwards. All around them as they head upstairs, civilians are slowly waking up, groaning. A few of them are injured, but only mildly.

The Vault Hunters arrive to the bridge, where they find Tannis typing at the farthest console.

“Tannis, whahappun?” Zane asks.
