“Mumsie” - Boots 17, 1997.
SUNRISE/SUNSET
I love a good cheek stain. This Boots 17 one in the orange shade Sunset is a great gel/liquid hybrid that's really easy to swipe on and blend. Also don't be put off by the word orange - under bronzer it gives you a great colour pop that isn't too bright.
17 Falsifeye mascara review
I bought this mascara at Christmas as it was on special offer (3 for 2) and it came with a free Smokey eye make-up kit (which is fantastic!).
I love the packaging of this mascara the pink tube really stands out in my make-up kit and I love the square tube which makes a change as most mascara usually come in a round tube so its nice that the packaging is a bit different and it doesn’t look cheap.
The brush is thick and runs through my eyelashes easily without clumping. It achieves beautufil lengthened and volumised lashes. The formula is quite wet which makes it easy to apply as you can add to layers quickly.
I have been using this mascara every day since Christmas and it is now the end of January and it hasn’t dried out or gone gloopy like some mascaras unfortunately do.
I think this is a fantastic mascara and I will definitely be buying it again if it is on offer.

17 Fury
This is a lovely (though, again, subtle) gold-green metallic duochrome which only needs two coats. It's also pretty good about brushstrokes, unusually for a metallic. I thought it might be similar to Models Own Copper Pot, but this is far more of a gold than a copper-orange. I don't want to describe it as "good and nice" because it makes me sound like a children's book, but this polish is SO good and SO nice.

17 Forever Butter London Tart With A Heart
Forever is a basic-but-super-glossy beige creme. It's another two-coater, which makes it fantastic for everyday wear since it's a doddle to apply. I'm not often one for basic varnishes so I spiced it up a bit with a coat of Tart With A Heart on my ring fingers.
17 Sulk
So it isn't the most original colour but the name is fantastic! Sulk is am almost teal (but not quite, to my eyes) blue-toned green shimmer. The formula was absolutely lovely to apply and it only needed two coats.
17 Glisten
I hate the name but I LOVE the colour! Glisten is a very subtle duochrome, though I'm not sure how to describe the base colour - sort of a golden peach? It's extremely pretty, though. I thought it'd be quite a sheer varnish, but it really wasn't. I only needed two coats for full opacity, which is always a lovely thing to discover.
