Jourdon LaBarber here, getting to know one of the newest Sabres, defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin.

Q. Ilya, tell us about yourself, off the ice.

I guess, so, off the ice, I'm kind man, I'm friendly. I'm almost always happy, yeah, I'm enjoy life.

Q. And tell us about yourself, on the ice.

Oh it's way different [than] off-ice. I'm hard, I think I'm tough, mentally strong, you know. I want to win always.

Q. What's your favourite part about being a Sabre?

My teammates; some unbelievable guys here.

Q. Why choose the number 46?

When I grow up, I wear number four, and sometimes number six. Also I have birthday April 6; so month, four, and day, six.

Q. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Oh, it's a tough question. My choice between just coconut, and maybe, some charcoal grilled beef. I don't know, I guess, I like both, but maybe coconut, it's easy to eat.

Q. What are binge-watching right now?

Um, nothing. Most times, I'm being with my kids. Don't have the time to watch movies or something.

Q. Favourite hobby off the ice?

Yeah, usually it's fishing, I like fishing.

Q. What makes you happiest?

I am: sad

Whats gross is that you stick your nose into other peoples body choices. You act like it’s a sin to be natural, and thats repulsing.It’s okay if you think they are gross, that’s the great thing about having choices, you get to shave if thats what you want. But if it were reversed and you liked shaved armpits and society liked hairy would you want to be able to comfortably shave your OWN GODDAM PITS? Stop putting out this idea that someone is gross just because its the opposite of what you do. Hair or no hair WE’RE STILL FUCKING GODDESSES.
