The Kissing Benches zijn door houtkunstenaar Alison Crowther gemaakt voor de onlangs herontworpen Figaro Garden van operahuis Glyndebourne. De tuin had iets nodig dat een aanvulling zou zijn op en niet de aandacht zou afleiden van het beeld Draped Reclining Woman van Henry Moore. Enorme boomstammen van Engels eikenhout zijn met behulp van traditionele gutsen en hamers bewerkt om een ergonomisch en aantrekkelijk zitvlak te creëren.

Tagged by @a-random-nerd! I totally misread the instructions so I went to pinterest and searched “boomstab aesthetic”. I was going to post this just for the last image there that showed up in the search, but then I learned some things that made these results make more sense! Pinterest has search corrections/suggestions. And “boomstam” is “tree trunk” in Dutch. :) I also remembered that pinterest the website is damn near unusable when it comes to saving images or copying urls,especially on desktop. Just an absolute nightmare. So. New Rules! Go to whatever image hellsite you wanna go to, type in “[your name/username] aesthetic” and post the first 9 images you get. With credit, if you can.
