Not to boomerpost on main but I miss the days where phone batteries lasted days not hours, when not having a social media account was the norm, and when I knew if I saw an image or video online it was either real or edited by a real person. I know people still lied with videos back in the day, but it required work, hours or days of effort and knowlege. These days, anyone can pump out a bullshit (scarily realistic) video in seconds without knowing anything about video editing.
I'm not trying to say by any stretch of the word that things were perfect (or even close) back when I was a kid, but there are things I miss about then. I am also aware that this 'missing of days past' isn't new and will continue for as long as humans exist, but that doesn't mean I'm immune.

Me, age 20, being an absolute boomer:
I love that young ppl refuse to buy into whatever racist/classist reasoning past generations had in shaming tattoos & now tattoos are taking off in popularity. Imagine other things once condemned in the past for bigoted reasons that Millennials/Gen Z wouldn't even give a second glance today. Millennials/Gen Z are so exhausted & humbled by our unprecedentedly fucked-up circumstances to hold up Boomer/Gen X cultural beliefs we literally just dish out unconditional empathy to each other so we can go to bed and not die of sleep deprivation
