You know its funny when people say on Goodreads "oh its that typical quirky girl spoilt rich boy forbidden love story that is overdone". I mean there are some stories that I think are overdone but I love the books that are like that. Like will it be good? Is the guy an idiot? Does the girl do this or that? It just seems like some people dismiss the things they read because its like something else when I absolutely love reading the same genres. Yay for books! Yay for differences! Yay for similarities! Who cares? You're reading a book!
Book shaming
Bought a book today and felt a little guilty about it cause it seem like a book a "basic white bitch" would read. And then I was like why!? Why do we judge people about the books they read!?! If you enjoy it read the fuck out of it!
I absolutely cannot stand people for "book shaming". I don't care if I'm reading a book series aimed towards middle schoolers; I enjoy the plot and the characters and enjoy this just the same. It doesn't make my taste in books any "better" or "worse" than yours. Simply ridiculous.
