I promised you a weekly book suggestion and I plan on delivering. So here is MANYPERSONS' WEEKLY BOOK SUGGESTION: VOLUME #1:
So I chose "The Family Upstairs", by Lisa Jewel this week, because it was one of those books I picked up and wasn't able to put down until I finished it that same night.
So basically, main character Libby Jones has gone her entire life without knowing anything about her family and has living on the streets with her daughter and son ever since she divorced her ex-husband. On her twenty-fifth birthday, she receives a letter that not only told her who her parents are, but also that she had inherited the abandoned mansion that the police were called to twenty-five years ago. Inside they found a perfectly healthy ten month old baby and three dead bodies in the kitchen.
If that summary doesn't influence you, Jesus, I don't know what will. Also, I'd love to I hear if you plan to read this book now or if you already have. If you already have, PLEASE tell me what you thought of it, just don't spoil it for anyone else and if you want to talk about it in depth, my inbox is open.
So you might notice a couple things. First, that I took this picture myself rather than the easier searching it up online. I'll be doing this just as my own way of proving that I actually have this book and that I've read it. Second, the Once Upon a Book Club sticker. Be ready to see so many of these, because I get a lot of REALLY good books from this subscription box. If you were smart, you'd skip the middle man (me) and go right to the source (them).
If you want more recommendations, all of these will be tagged "#manypersons' weekly reading suggestion" so that you can keep updated or send an ask if you just can't be patient and wait until next Sunday.
So until next time, read on and don't get a paper cut
