How do you use book swag and promotional materials? ⁣ ⁣ I tend to end up with book merch from publishers, preorders or friends. Just kidding. For whatever reason I just feel so emotionally drained. I’m so exhausted and I feel like my head will explode. On a really personal level…I tend to try not to talk about things because I don’t like making others feel bad or I don’t want people thinking I’m being woe is me. So I end up suppressing thoughts over and over again until I’ve had enough. Then I just feel awful. That is kind of how I am feeling now. Mental health is important but I know all too well that sometimes it is hard to follow mental health for yourself. I think that is one thing about A Court of Silver Flames that I really really liked. I loved how they address and talked about grief. Lots of people have a hard time with grief. I know I am. I don’t know what to do with it. I think it is very important to talk about things like grief because people need a friend and they need to know they are not alone. I really like when books tackle tough subjects and do a good job with it. Poppy’s character drew me in right away. I loved this woman that had a healthy dose of fear but she didn’t let it hold her back. She was courageous and brave. If you like fantasy and paranormal, I would definitely check out this series. On a side note today is my husband and I together anniversary. We’ve been together for 8 years.
