We'll crunch the numbers next time. So what exactly is a co-player search and how does it work?

Fairly simple. Reservation system which is representing available courts is used to allow players not only to book courts but also to enable them to mark time slots at which they would search for a co-player. All the others players rambling around can see players searching for co-players and can instantly join them.

Now the thing is that when the system is introduced at the sport club everybody is a bit afraid of it and there's not much chance that first time around when you'll be searching for a co-player that anyone would join you. This is why players can set their "general hours" to specify when they are able to play or socialize through a game of tennis with random sports-men/women. And they are also able to set at least how good a co-player must be. And that is it. The idea is that we could then connect them with tennis/squash/badminton players who play at the same level and are available at the same time. Plus we take into account the availability of courts at the sport club where they play.

We are currently not connecting players yet. We just gave them an option to set their available times and playing level. When enough of them subscribe we'll make a test run and see what happens. We hope that we'll be able to increase the number of games played at the sport club with this feature. And that we'll efficiently start to tackle a problem of finding a co-player which is one of the biggest problems players face. If this in turn helps sport clubs maximize court capacity usage this could be another incentive for them to try our club court reservation system out. It also gives us another option for a revenue stream. Since if this would all work we no more provide sport clubs with a mere court reservation software that eases their problems but also a software that can significantly increase their profits. So it would be a win-win situation we would be in. And it could convince some sport clubs that are now resisting to use our software to see a major benefit against their current pen & paper system

We'll see how it plays out in a few months. Another thing is that "The winter is coming!" here in Slovenia(Europe) so we better hurry!

Od sedaj naprej se lahko na izbranih športnih centrih povezujete s soigralci prek iskalnika igralcev! Kako? 1.) ob izbiri ure, imate sedaj možnost klikniti "Iščem soigralca", oz. "Da, iščem"

2.) soigralci bodo videli vaš termin ob katerem bi igrali

3.) če se vam kdo pridruži, vas bomo najmanj 2h pred igro o tem obvestili in to je to, želimo vam dobro igro! :)

+ če obstajajo termini ob katerih imate vedno čas igrati, jih lahko označite in ko bodo soigralci iskali partnerja, vas o tem lahko obvestimo

+ kmalu bo dodana tudi možnost omejitve kako dober igralec se vam lahko pridruži :)
