#book lending

I refuse to lend books to anyone because the last time I did it was in 6th grade, but then the girl and I got into a fight and we stopped talking over the summer and then she moved in 7th grade and it’s been 6 years and I want my book back

My goal is to have an entire library hold shelf dedicated to only me.

If I ever recommend you a book please know that I want you to truly invest in that book. Know that each book I read forms a piece of my soul, and if I recommend you a book it means that I am showing you a little piece of who I am, please don't take the book and then return it to me without reading it because you didn't feel like it.

I love the feeling of consuming the whole world with the Skulduggery series. Because I read the first one and lent it to a friend, who lent it to a friend, who lent it to a friend, who lent it to another friend, who lent it to his sister, who lent it to a friend, who lent it to his girlfriend, and it just kept going. It will never stop. This book will make its way around the entire of Ireland soon. Everyone will have read it, my copy, which now has no cover, a duct-taped spine, and stains of all kinds on its pages, from ice cream to tears to blood. It just makes me so happy to spread this series around.

When someone asks to borrow a book and you hand it over graciously but then keep repeating look after it don't bend back the cover and make sure you look after it! Then feeling worried about it when it's gone! ;)
