Imagine this ok here's my idea for an actually intriguing TomTord fic
Tord being an autistic BPD guy whose special interest is Robotics and Science but also knows a lot about guns and could talk about the different kinds of guns and how they work and are built but he also has this increasing need for power and control in his life causing him to act recklessly or maliciously
Despite having always hated Tom he was always intrigued by his pessimistic view on the world and loves his brutal honesty
After the incident he maybe misses the tussles he had with Tom and has deep regrets for what he had done to him and his friends so he proceeds to stalk him and study his activity and plan how he can get Tom back into his life
Meanwhile Tom deals with a nasty breakup with a girl he was seeing for a while
Tom copes by of course drinking alcohol and gets drunk frequently, he stumbles alot and almost hurts himself quite a few times and Tord for some reason he always trys to make sure Tom doesn't hurt himself from a far coming up with plans for what he can do to make sure Tom doesn't hurt himself without having to make Tom see his face again. Tord doesn't know where this weird urge to protect even came from, he thought he always despised Tom but it feels like deep down he has a kind of love for him in his heart
