How amazing are these custom book keychains that a fabulous seller on Etsy made for me? ◝(ᵔᵕᵔ)◜ I'm in love with them!
Boogiepop and Others and Shiki are two of my favourite novels and works of fiction in general and now I get to carry them with me wherever I go (I'm going to put them on my Traveler's Company Notebook).
The seller was so accommodating of my niche requests! The spine for Shiki was actually made with a photo I took of one of my own copies, so it's as unique and one-of-a-kind as it gets. I also asked to have the reverse feature an image of the second volume's cover because the original back cover is pretty much blank and I thought this would be cooler. It's no secret that Boogiepop Phantom (2000) is my favourite anime and this collector's edition set by Anime Limited/All The Anime delivers in spades. Everything about its presentation is thematically fitting, the packaging is high quality and the blu-ray transfer is utterly gorgeous, whilst still retaining the grit that makes the show's visuals so iconic.
I also love that it comes with an art book filled with character art sketches. If you've seen my blog before, you may have seen some of this artwork and some of the sketches on my LaserDisc sets. This art book, however, features many more additional sketches that I had previously not seen in any other Boogiepop Phantom merch. I'll have to make a flip through video of it because it's really cool. Something else I love about this set is that it features art that was on the LaserDisc volumes, which was the first home media release 𑣲
