Boogiepop Phantom (2000) Opening
Yuudachi by Shikao Suga
I'm so happy to share that today, I received all 6 volumes of Boogiepop Phantom (2000) on LaserDisc! I have been searching high and low for these for over 3 years, I'd trawled through Japanese and western websites trying to find anything. I would have been so happy to have found one volume, but I was recently able to find all 6 in beautiful condition. These are very rare as they came out in 2000, right at the end of LaserDisc's popularity and, as far as I'm aware, these were the last releases published by VAP. It is my absolute pleasure to finally own them and to be able to share them with you all! I'm also reaching out to local media preservationists to see if they can help me digitise them so that I can eventually share it all on the Internet Archive for everyone to enjoy. :)
