Please ignore this if it comes off as mean or ungrateful but I'm reading the first chapter of your work about Minecraft Oscar and Lando is playing golf. You use a lot of gold terms and their used correctly I guess but space wise I cannot imagine it. It does not mesh with my understanding of how far apart things in golf are. Why is max near a tee if their already at the hole? Why is lando using an iron presumably on the putting green 🥲? Idk if a putter counts as an iron. Is this mini golf? How close are the other men waiting in them? Idk im tired and it's been a while since I was at a golf course. I'm super excited to read your story thank you for writing and sharing it. I'm sorry for the uninvited critique.

Unfortunately, I know absolutely nothing about golf, and I genuinely did my best to emulate the scene as accurately as possible, but clearly my complete lack of golf knowledge has betrayed me. My only real golf experience is mini-golf, as one can very obviously tell, hahaha. (Though I promise I know significantly more about Minecraft than I do about golf!!)
And for the tee question: Max is at the tee while Lando is already down by the hole, Lando walks back toward him afterwards.
The other thing, however? NO IDEA. Genuinely. I tried my absolute best. Maybe one day someone will finally drag me onto an actual golf course so I can figure out what the hell is happening there.
