I like and admire your dedication in hiding the identity of KN and has given us as little info on them as possible so far! (I'm DYING to discover more tho plzzzzzz)

But here is a question:

Is KN definitely a set character?

So not like there are several potential characters and the choices we made in game could 'change' or 'affect' their identity right? Plus the possibility that they are just their own person and will not appear in the story as another.

I’m glad that you enjoy the mystery of Absentia and The Kidnapper. They’re definitely one of my favorite characters that I’ve ever written, because they’re so unabashedly the bad guy and they’re well aware of it. It’s fun to delve into that type of person and how they interact with the world— especially when they have to pretend to care about various things.

The Kidnapper will appear as someone else first— you may have already met them— because they have a “mask” whenever they’re interacting with the public. A mask that’s so perfectly honed you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference until they finally let the monster be free and it falls away. They’re a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

If it is I’d feel obligated to choose that one lol…FOR REVENGE

PS. The new demo looks great! Seems like you have much more freedom to work with, and I like the text effects you put in!

Can we get a little more description for each RO’s route? Something like what troupe we can expect, or just who has the slow or fast routes?

And how important is romance going to be in this story? Or is it going to focus more on resolve the mystery of MC’s death and revival? Both would be really fun to read!

- Potential for grumpy x sunshine - (her) First everythings (i think her route is the most wholesome idk) - Ice Queen

Kate

- it is "canon" that Kate is physically attracted to the MC when they first meet, if you reciprocate, the feelings will grow, but if not they will disappear with no hard feelings. - There is a possible fwb/casual hookups stage, too, completely optional. - huge flirt who can't handle when you flirt back - potential age gap, since Kate is far on the younger side of the age range.

Austin

-mention wanting something, he's already adding it to his cart -he has been in the industry his whole life, he doesn't know what it's like to be "normal", if you're an MC from humble beginnings, I think it's really special to explore that stuff with him and something I reallyyy want to write! -ORR an MC who also grew up in the spotlight, you can try those "normal" activities for the first time together :)

Ky

- Tired smiles - screw "would kill for you" , he would live for you. - Quiet kid with a plethora of secrets - Mutual Pining he is such a dork i can't (affectionate)

I think all of the routes will be pretty slow since most of our ROs are still in the process of grieving MC, and then being hit with MC actually being alive.

On a scale of slow to "fast":

??? > Vanessa/Ky > Austin > Kate

I don't like to advertise ??? too much because they are not in the main storyline as much as the rest of the crew.

Vanessa and Ky are tied because both of them are really hard to get to know/open up. Vanessa has a hard time expressing vulnerability and Ky is just...very private.

Austin is...well he has a hard time wrapping his head around everything. Very skeptical, he's just being cautious.

Kate is just very open about how she feels, she's real big on communication. She also has a bit of a "You could die again tomorrow, let's do it differently and live with no regrets" mindset. Obviously, she would respect it if MC is not ready after having just died and coming back to life.

To be honest, this could change depending how the story pans out, but just thinking on what I know about them this is what feels right for now.
