A scribble for a short story that captured my brain for two days:
Part 1
The world sways. You take it and lay it bare.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
"Look at me"
The world sways
Part 2
My condition grows harder to hide
You kiss me anyway
You take it, and lay it bare
Part 3
This is my seventh body. At your command, the world sways.
Eventually they come for us.
"Don't leave me here alone."
"You are already alone"
Part 4
You take it and lay it bare.
They write poems and songs about us
In time with the music, the world sways.
It takes us and lays us bare.
Original written work by Styx from @thecellblockscorch podcast, you can listen to the piece here on youtube or where ever else you get podcasts (249a - Villanelle for the Dead and Damned)
Maybe one day I'll clean this up and make it more than just scribbles but for now I am sated
