It was a strange feeling, to be different things to each Bordeaux. Tuesday was…not quite a friend but not quite an enemy, Noah was more like a business partner, and the others he didn’t know that well. But he knew tidbits, little odds and ends about their personalities or their temperament through the grapevine. While Tuesday was very much against his family, had alluded to killing what sounded like more than a handful, Valentine was borderline devoted to the Tallis family name. Or at least that’s what he heard. But he hadn’t met her yet, not officially at least. And he was slightly nervous to. Tuesday was on one end of the spectrum, but Valentine was on the other. If both were extremes….But he was always down to meet an original, talk with them. And so when he’d finally walked into the Red Cross and saw her at the bar, he ignored the slight anxiety in his gut and sidled up next to her. “Valentine, right?”
