Lace Front Essentials
for that MELT!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE wigs, but I HATE that "wiggy" look, so I've been slaying wigs for a little while now and it's definitely giving "WHAT LACE"?? everytime. Here are the exact tools I use to MELT my lace:
click the links to shop π
Tail Comb: you gotta have one of these! the metal tail makes a great tool for precise parting and styling.
Hot Comb: definitely needed for flattening the wig to get that LAID look. this is a MUST HAVE because a lot of wigs come bulky, unplucked and lumpy. this is also great for keeping flyaways in check and parts straight.
Scissors: if you like experimenting with layers and cuts, these are great!
Mini Hair Straightener: this is for the girlies that LOVE the fluffy baby hair trend of this year.
Spray-on Hair Color: after applying concealer to my parts, they end up looking off and too thick, so i take the metal tail on the comb and place it straight on top of the desired part area, then I spray. once you take that comb away and reveal, you'll have a perfectly straight part!
Edge Brush: if you're a fan of edges, you need these! sometimes a comb won't cut it (trust me, I've been there lol)
Wax Stick: combine this with a hot comb and your flyaways and misplaced hairs will be slicked down!
Professional Hairspray: if you're curling or crimping, you'll need this kind of spray to hold the style without weighing the hair down. adding a bunch of products to the hair can weigh it down and make it "stiff".
Hair Lightener: lighten your wig color easily with this
Pure White 30V Developer
Brush & Bowl Set
Tweezers
Cream Foundation
Concealer
Flat Top Foundation Brush
Melting Band: this is how you get that MELT!! the tightness against the lace does magic! like, REAL magic. I use this one because I love the prints and it can disguise as a cute headband if I'm running errands.
Tiny Scissors: cut your lace accurately with these babies. they get into corners and edges that regular scissors cannot.
