#bokushou

Hey guys have i ever told you my bokuroshou roadtrip au? Well im doing it now It all starts with the fact that somehow daishou and bokuto not only go to the same college, but also apparently share an apartment. Their relationship starts rocky, w/ bokuto knowing p much nothing abt him except what kuroo told him (that he’s the worst), and daishou knowing two things, that bokuto is good at volleyball, and that he’s hot, period. Soon he discovers that hes also good at making friends, although hes not fan of the idea. Being best bros that they are, bokuto tells that to kuroo, who’s like HOW can u be friends with him?? And bokuto asks him dude why do u hate him sm anyway?? Like sure he was still an asshole but being on the new team he wasnt doing all the cheating he did in nohebi. So kuroo tolds him that long time ago they used to be friends (bc the hc that kuroo, kenma and daishou are all childhood friends makes me live alright), and then everything changed on high school. Bokuto digs enough to make him admit that sometimes he wishes they could be friends again, but he knows that its just not possible. Fast foward to, like, next summer a few months later, when bokuto buys a car and asks kuroo to go on a road trip w/ him + a surprise~!! Which is, guess, daishou. Needless to say, nobody is happy w/ that plan, but when kuroo starts to be like i dont wanna go, daishou, part pride part taunting part some other stuff, says oh well then its just bokuto and me~ knowing full well just how much kuroo dislikes him atm and the obvious sun sized crush he has on bo alright. Kuroo is not stupid and he knows that he knows, but still agrees to go onto that hellish roadtrip w/ his best bud and his mortal enemy. At first its awkward, and its weird, nobody knows why bokuto did it and he never rly tell?? So they drop it for a while. Some things happen that you’ll expect from a road trip au, like the first time they arrive to a motel w/ only one bed kuroo takes the middle side, mostly bc he doesnt trust daishou. Cue to next morning those two r p much unconsciously cuddling, and later bokuto laughting wholeheartedly while they die of embarrassment alright. (Next time they end up in the same bed bo’s in the middle, prolly saying smth cheesy like just 3 guys being dudes, and its strange bc?? On one hand kuroo is on the pining side, on the other daishou hates to admit it but still finds him p hot, kuroodaishou is complicated, and bokuto is just a big wall of ????????s) And after that first big block of ice is broken they unsurprisingly find that they’re actually having fun ! Best dudes kuroo and bokuto, a lil bit more good natured teasing w/ daishou and kuroo, and th most unlikely friends that are bokuto and daishou?? (at first it was only for his looks until he realises that maybe? He? Actually likes him? What a shock !), and in the duration of the trip all that becomes smth else too. In the original idea im p sure i had more angst? Also smut lmao, but its 5 am and thats the basic outline of the story !! Tell me what yall think if u want lmao.
