#bofur dwarf

i literally had nothing else to do (except revise but whatever 🔥) and the only good quality Hobbit 2048 game was massively biased on Bard so I kind of. Well. Made one but it’s entirely bofur!!

So in case you're curious, this is my little pattern for the Bofur doll hat, which might be useful if you want to make a people sized version.

1) I flatted together a layer of brown felt (exterior) and gray fleece (interior), pinned both layers together under my pattern, and simply stitched around the pattern, like a jig.

2) I trimmed away the excess fabric, within a 1/8 inch or less of the stitchline. Then I whip stitched close the darts (which is what the actual hat has, more or less)- up to the hatch marks where the brim flips up in the front of the hat. if you go past those marks the brim won't open up.

3) From the inside of the hat, I tacked the folded brims to the crown of the hat, in front and back. Voila!
