On account of World Heart Day, let us all make a promise to ourselves to work for better heart health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are some quick tips to start working on it - 1. Cut saturated fats. Saturated fats are the bad ones we all talk about. The ones which are to be avoided. These fats are responsible for the rise in LDL or bad cholesterol as we call it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Eat clean. We have all heard of it, but what does eating clean mean? It is basically eating a variety of fresh vegetables, whole fruits, nuts and grains instead of processed foods like bread, biscuits, chips etc. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Move it. Make it a point to exercise for atleast 30 minutes a day. Also, that's not it. Avoid sitting for long hours. Walk some steps, climb some stairs after every hour or two to maintain a good activity level. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4. Cool down. Take some time off your schedule to release your stress, to distract yourself from work and other tensions. Yoga, meditation and taking some time off for your hobbies is equally helpful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5. Sleep well. Sleeping is as important as any other measures taken for fitness. Those 7-8 hours of undisturbed good sleep at night contribute more than you know. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #bodyunbound #nutritionist #nutritionblogger #healthblogger #punenutritionist #punehealthbloggers #healthandfitness #healthylifestyle #worldheartday #worldheartday2019 #hearthealth #healthtips #hearthealthtips #hearthealthawareness (at Pune, Maharashtra) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2_cP3pAugh/?igshid=1n5l0honprsc7
