(( Answers for all three, because these were quick! ))

Eoiel is vegetarian. It doesn’t come up often in RP, but it is canon. I picture it being more for health/dietary reasons for Eoiel, but there is also room for moral motivation if I ever wanted to make that a focal point of his story.

Bodge flosses her teeth twice a day. It sounds silly, but I use it to ground her in realism. When looking at ways to overcome and stave off depression, small victories are key. Many people do this by making their bed every morning, a small accomplishment to start the day. Bodge does it with dental hygiene (and it fights off the fishy miqo’te cat breath).

Ash smokes. I wouldn’t say I “adore” this about her, but it is a banal fact. One of the themes I try to weave into Ash’s story is personal growth, building up and bolstering of her intelligence and capabilities. I like using her smoking habit, detrimental to her health, when I need to symbolize the opposite of that, a counterproductive road block in her path towards improvement.

Zhaji sat out in the desert heat, hands lazily supporting the back of his head like a makeshift cushion. The heat bearable upon his russet skin - it was a lazy day. But a lot of days were like this, he appreciated it. And right now he needed it.

He held the sharpened knife high in the sky, the sun glinting off it’s honed edge. It was beautiful in it’s simplicity. He thought about how such a simple blade, will cause so much torment. But that’s all he could do, think. He wouldn’t remember it. It’d just be another day. They’d tell him everything was alright, everything was taken care of, he didn’t have to worry. He’d wake up sleeping against a rock. Like nothing would happen. He’d accept that and move on.

Zhaji looked over towards the Seeker in the distance. She was looking for it, he could tell. And he could see the rain cloud only growing larger with each passing moment.  He thought about the argument they had. It was better for them to depart on good terms.
