So today was practically perfect, even though all the noise is still here and my parents realised I wasn't taking my meds and everything is still horrible, today was actually fairly brilliant. Went to Bocketts Farm and oh my goodness, I want a farm so badly.Â
Saw the pigs and the newborn lamb twins and the goats and the cows and horses and chickens and spent time with the dog in the afternoon and Sam absolutely adored her and pushed her on my swing and just was reminded of how beautiful life is as a child.
And things are still really really horrific at the moment, and I will be completely alone in a couple of weeks from now when Millie goes away, but that's okay. Today was pretty amazing. I laughed until I cried and was uncontrollably excited about the pig racing and it was just ah. Boaris Johnson the pig didn't win, but Bradley Piggins did and that's pretty good too.Â
It made me pretty sad to see the donkeys and horses so cooped up, but they do get to go out regularly so that's alright and just. I wish every day could be spent in this care-free way. I guess it kind of is. I've just got to work out what it was about today. Because today was genuinely just awh <3
I'm a child, I really am. But without the wonder, without the happiness, and that kind of sucks. But I can be a child if I want to be. I could. I should.Â
Just a little reminder, Finola. You're going to be okay.
