I never spoke on Beychella because I was still stuck on wknd 2 videos & fits but….Beyonce’s performance was EVERYTHING. We knew to expect nothing less of Queen Bey. I stood up until 4 am streaming that awesome performance. Unfortunately wkend 2 wasn’t streamed so all I had were images the next morning. Beyonce stage set up was beyond extravagant, she had a whole drum line production going on.

Many photographs (including the one right above) also feature the ferris wheel, an attraction that can normally be found at the LA county fair and that organizers bring over to the music festival annually.

On the other hand, users on Twitter have been cooing over and celebrating the various performances that have been put up by artistes over the first weekend. Hashtags such as #Beychella, marking Beyoncé’s performance, and #Bochella, used to mark Cardi B’s performance, have also been making their way around the social media platform.

There were also mentions of other artists at the festival, although few others of them were tagged with Coachella-modified hashtags. #TheWeeknd and Eminem were two such examples.

Given the price of Coachella tickets, not all fans were able to attend the concerts of their favorite artistes. This is why many fans rejoiced when artistes were given the option to live-stream their performances on YouTube. Many of Eminem’s fan, however, were left disappointed when he chose not to have his performance live-streamed.
