I don’t take a lot of pictures of people but I really enjoyed my little cruise with this Maltese boat driver. ;-)
Boat driver, Floating village, Cambodia. February.
Summer time
I was at my friend Erica’s house last Wednesday and she was saying that the director of the camp she works at ever summer had told her the camp needed some more people to work, a guys counselor, rock wall instructor, a couple others, and a boat driver. When she said boat driver, my ears perked up. While I was working at Camp Lawroweld, the water front director started teaching me how to drive the boats. I only ever got to drive once but I got to drive the She-Hulk. So I decided to apply. I need something to do over the summer anyway that’s making money and camp seemed like a good idea and right up my ally. It was strange applying for a camp other than Lawroweld but it needed to happen. I emailed in my application on Wednesday night, Friday I got a call from Pastor Charlie, the director, and he offered me the job and I took it. Now my plane ticket has been bought and I get to start planning for another summer at camp, driving boats and getting tan.
In other news, I’m in my fundraising stage of student missions. If you have $5 or $10 to spare, visit here and donate. I would very much appreciate it. Also, if you want to be put on an awesome email update list, let me know and I’ll put you on it.
