Everyone pretending Deku didn't leave to save their sanity while enjoying the fact that Mirko and a few other pro heroes are more or less okay:

Man, Inko probably is all the combinations of worried, sad, and all the emotions about Izuku dipping out, but she probably gets it. Can you imagine her visiting Izuku’s room in the 1-A dorms and meeting class 1-A. In true Midoriya fashion I bet she would apologize on behalf of her son leaving and thank them for being his friend (especially since he didn’t have many when he was younger). Maybe ask them to wait for her son?

I mean she knows how much Izuku cares for them and wants to keep them safe. UA was also Izuku’s dream for so long, even when he was quirkless. And he gave it up (hopefully temporarily) to keep the school, teachers, and his friends safe.

I hope absolutely NO ONE follows Deku, and we get to see him growing into his own person without having his eyes set on someone else (All might/Bakugou) like we have been doing. I think it was clearly hinted that we were building up to this type character development, with his realization of how much of his hero persona centered around all might (through the talk about his fighting style), these last manga chapters, with him realizing some of the faults of the hero society, as well as how that same society affected his own perception (never really thinking about the villains point of view before) and now, where the vestiges have a really clear idea of what’s the only solution while Izuku is set on finding the answer himself.
