Leave the path your life is stuck on and be free. It was a dark whisper calling to him, but he wasn’t brave enough to listen. Nicolas was old enough to know he didn’t have any special talents, so no matter how depressing, he had to suck it up and live his life.

Places lived prior to Beaumont: paris, france → nashville, TN → bristol, VA → nashville, TN
Best Traits: i know what i’m about.
Worst Traits: i have extremely bad posture.
DIGGING DEEPER
Do you have any phobias? since i was a kid i’ve had this recurring dream that dinosaurs were roaming the earth again. which, theoretically-- super cool. in practise? i really fucking hate t-rex horror stories, and i’ve died by t-rex like a million times now.
To date, what is your biggest achievement? being a new york times bestseller is kind of high up on that list. being able to grow my own azaleas’re another thing. every night i pat myself on the back for surviving another day, too, but that feels self-centric.
Do you have any regrets? lots of family-related regret, probably. life-wise, i’d say i’m okay. for the most part. i only regret maybe one or two big decisions.
What are your biggest desires? i could really go for a pizza if my nutritionist wasn’t harping on me. i also kind of want a dog? i think once upon a time i wanted to be a dad, but given the way my life’s turning out, i’ll settle for weird uncle.
Are you happy in Beaumont, or not? And why? it’s all right enough. i like how slow it is, easy. i also get to tend to a garden again-- i missed that when i moved from bristol back to nashville. people-wise there’re some good eggs and there’re some bad eggs, so it’s the same as anywhere else. i guess the weather’s also a lot easier on me than virginia’s weather was, i’ll give it that. and you can always hear yourself think in small towns... people tend to overlook that. but you know what they say about the grass being greener.
PERSONALITY TEST [ #1 ]
introvert, intuitive, thinking, judging. (turbulent.) google says it’s called “the architect”. introvert’s moderate (53%). intuition’s slight (6%). thinking’s moderate (56%). judging’s distinct (59%). it’s more or less one of those “chooses logic over emotion” types, with an added ~*~secret whimsicality~*~ deep down... which the logic stamps out pretty easily.
fun facts: intj types’re 0.8% of the population, apparently. i don’t feel half as smart as this myer-briggs personality shit says i should be, though.
PERSONALITY TEST [ #2 ]
neutral good. what i get from this is that i’m just doing my best to give something good into the world. i mean, isn’t everyone?

PERSONALITY TEST [ #1 ]

PERSONALITY TEST [ #2 ]
Alingment tests are designed to measure your character’s ethnical and moral attitudes, and behaviour. The moral axis has three positions: good, neutral and evil. Good characters generally care about the welfare of others. Neutral people generally care about their own welfare. Evil people generally seek to harm the others’ welfare. The ethical axis has three positions as well: lawful, neutral, and chaotic. Lawful people generally follow the social rules as they understand them. Neutral people follow those rules find convenient or obviously necessary. And chaotic people seek to upset the social order and either institute change, or simply create anarchy.

For Beaumont’s second task, we have one simple question: Where does your character live?
As always you’re encouraged to get as creative as you want. Model your character’s home on the sims, find real estate pictures to stitch together, maybe even draw one, whatever! You’re also welcome to simply write about their character’s living conditions. Do they like where they live? Does it have nice views? Who’s their most peculiar neighbor? What would their dream house be? You can answer this prompt in any way or interpretation you wish!
This task is not time sensitive, it will have no deadline or expiration date. That means any character new or old is welcome to do this task. Be sure to tag your final post #bmonttask002 so that others may see! Have fun!
