assuming u mean for bmjn () here's my self indulgent take
they talk a lot more in front of others than they do with each other. yj is easily influenced by a lively atmosphere and genuinely just says whatever is on her mind without much regard to whether it is the most appropriate or sensitive thing to say, but its okay because everyone likes her for the unfilteredness. bg is more deliberate and thoughtful and fairly 体面. when she wants to, she goads yj into either flipping out (ragebaiter x ragebaited?? they both enjoy it immensely) make jokes or 确认自己在对方心中的地位. they both like to use the presence of other people to 旁敲侧击 and pressure each other into admitting things/delve into topics/taking actions they would not go into on their own. (e.g. the canonical event of glancing at each other when singing the lyric ‘i’m a lover’)
they don't have a super big overlap in personal lives but they do like to travel together a ton. and make music. and just do stuff in general and so much of their discussions are more small talk/technical as a result. they are quieter and more subdued than when with others.. if anyone is the teaser it's usually yj instead of the other way around as well. they hold each other at a bit of a distance since at heart they don't have the imminent desire to understand each other. their relationship is more defined by liminal spaces, time quadrants, landmarks, photos, sounds, sights, smells, whatnot.
