Thank you for the rec of foldable keyboards! I ended up doing a deep dive on folding keyobards and landing on an iClever IC-BK03 from Amazon.

After some research I ended up going with a tri-folding modeleneded up going with a tri-folding model both because it seems to be the best option for something youre putting in your bag (better dust ptoection than single folds) and also because the zigzag hinge means that you can avoid some of the awkward key sizing you often get either side of a single hinge.
Here's what it looks like with a standard drink can for scale, folded up it's about the same thickness as my phone case.
It also ended up being less expensive than I htought it might be, which also was fun. Defintiely worth looking into!

I just got a Bluetooth key board for my iPad and I needed to type SOMETHING, so I’m writing this post.
The key board has a rubber cover to protect the keys(I think) which is fun to type with, but when you take the cover OFF the keys are clicky and I love it.
The keyboard can also be removed from the case (it stays on b/c of magnets) so rn I’m typing holding it with my left and a nd typing with my right.
I originally wanted to get this because I was writing a r/nosleep series, but I finished the series before I could get the key board. I’ll probably write another. I’m also gonna use this for school sometimes.
