everytime i watch this scene it bothers me that she for some reason does not have eyebrows.
she has eyebrows in every other scene but this one. why.

You know, one thing I really like about how the super saiyan transformation initially worked is how it felt like Goku was able to achieve it because he's unlike the rest of the saiyans.
By the time it occurs, all the saiyans we see are pretty bad people, or at least assholes. They seem to have some sort of sense of camaraderie, but the bonds don't seem to go very deep. Then, meanwhile, you have Goku, who has already been show to go up to bat in rage immediately if someone he cares about is harmed and who showed compassion towards others.
It sets up the idea that the saiyans largely couldn't go super saiyan because of their nature, but if one went against this nature or managed to do what was counter to them, they could achieve great heights. I know since then we've received far more saiyan lore and how one can go super saiyan has changed, but it's neat how at the beginning, the one who could achieve the greatest power of his race is also the one who is completely unlike them.

I’ve been thinking a lot about my art and what I want it to be recently, I’ve had art block for like a few weeks BUT
I want it to look more.. Polished? Like something you would see on the box of a video game, I want people to look at my art and go “hey what game/show is that from?”
And I’m pretty sure that’s what every aspiring artist wants, I mean it’d help me get a job when the time comes so that’s a plus. I’m not there yet, and it’ll probably be YEARS till I get there, I am but a young 15 year old spider after all, I have a lot to learn still, but I’m more then confident I’ll get there. I’ve seen some pretty big improvements in my art recently and it makes me happy because it means I’m inching closer to my goal!
I think what I need is bigger projects with many characters in one place to really get some good practice in, but my brain is fried and I can’t think so that sucks
If any of yall wanna request a complex drawing I can do it, I’m not gonna charge anything cuz I can’t do commissions
I’m just proud of myself! I used to absolutely suck and now I can be confident in my art, like anyone who knew me last year could see the change my daily blog art fucking SUCKED ASS and now I can actually shade and my anatomy isn’t complete shit, not saying it’s the best but it’s better!
just had a dream that lars of the stars came on tv as an ad and basically announced that it would be 12 episodes, one a month from jan-dec and the finale would be christmas 2027

maybe i’m just being harsh because i like Lapis a lot, but i have always HATED how Amethyst treated her and treated her trauma. it still pisses me off to this day
I think Amethyst had her reasons to dislike Lapis and that’s okay, i don’t think they should’ve been besties or whatever, but Amethyst had the absolute nerve to show up at Lapis’s new home and start shouting about Jasper right as Lapis is starting to have a bit of fun and loosen up for like.. the first time ever😭😭
She’s still insensitive about it wayyy later even after Peridot tells her not to mention Jasper around Lapis, she still turns to Lapis WHILE SHAPESHIFTING AS JASPER and asks if she and Peridot want to be her prisoners.
I’ll never get over that scene the way Peridot instantly holds onto Lapis shows that even Peridot thought it was weird as fuck
the cherry on top is that when Jasper reforms towards the end Amethyst is literally the first person to go up to her, offers her the niceness she refused to give to Lapis INSTANTLY which also still bothers me to this day bc why did she do that
I love Amethysts character development throughout the show but i think she was such a shit person for acting how she did to Lapis, it will forever bother me
