BLUEPULSE WEEK!!!Â
Day 1: First Selfie
My sister took the charger of my laptop, thatÂŽs the reason I finally finish this lol
I had to do it fast, but I liked how it looks
First pet name
(seriously you say âpet namesâ in English?
Bart is early 16 and Jaime 18. So I hope itâs okay?)
Bluepulse Week Day 1: Firsts
(Iâm so late for this. Sorry >< )
Bart: Blue, you didnât call me hermano for weeks! Somethingâs wrong? You donât love me anymore?
Jaime: Of course I love you!
Bart: So what?Â
Jaime: Itâs just... I canât call you hermano anymore...
Bart: Why not?
Jaime: You know it means bro in Spanish, right? No you didnât? Why that doesnât surprise me? So now, since weâre dating for almost a month, you understand I canât call you that anymore? That would be inappropriate.Â
Bart: (pouting) But I liked it... That was our thing, you know.Â
It is true Jaime didnât call anyone else hermano since Bart shows up.
Jaime: I... I canât find another one if you want?
Bart: Really?? Like what?
Jaime: Er... (Losing himself in Bartâs emerald eyes.) Hermoso.Â
Bart: I like it. It almost sounds like hermano. Hermoso, hermano. Totally crash! What does that mean by the way? Boyfriend?
Jaime:Â (blushing) Yeah... something like that...
Well, it was the first time I wrote in English and with those two, so I hope itâs okay ^-^
Ps: of course Bartâs ones will be all related to food!
hermoso: beautiful
Bluepulse Week Day 5: Colors/Seasons
Summary: The team goes on a mission in December. On the way back, Jaime and Bart decide to stick around for a while.
.............................................................................
âIâm boooooooored!â Bart groaned.
Jaime looked over at him, glaring, âBart, I am, too, but we still have to stake this guy out until Cassie and Barbara get here to take over.â
âWell, whenâs that going to be?â Bart asked.
âNot for another hour,â Jaime said.
âBut weâve already been here forever.â
âWe have been here three hours.â
âScarab says weâve been here three hours.â
âWell, Iâm a speedster,â Bart said, âFeels longer for me.â
It started snowing.
Jaime looked up, âGreat.â He was already cold, and now it was just worse. They couldnât be suited up on this kind of stakeout, so while normally, Scarab could keep him warm, he couldnât today. Jaime was shivering in his coat.
Bart was looking around in wonder, âWow.â
âWhatâs the matter?â Jaime asked, âHavenât you seen snow before?â
âYeah, but...â Bart shrugged, âWhere Iâm from, itâs usually not this white. Here... well, itâs kind of magical.â
The snowflakes contrasted sharply against Bartâs auburn hair. His green eyes were sparkling like Jaime had never seen.
âMagical,â Jaime agreed.
Bart had told him he had a thing for him, but... well, both of them had been kind of pretending it never happened. Nothing about their friendship had changed. Jaime had been pretty sure he was straight. That he didnât like Bart that way.
But with how good the speedster looked in the snow right now... who knows?
A wind swept through the park where they were sitting. Jaime shivered.
âAre you cold?â Bart asked, looking concerned.
âIâm from El Paso,â Jaime said, âIt doesnât get this cold at home.â
Bart put his arm around him, and Jaimewas surprised to feel that Bart was really warm.
âSpeedster metabolism,â He explained, like he knew what Jaime was thinking.
âThatâs convenient,â Jaime admitted.
Bart seemed a little embarrassed, âUm, youâre okay with... this... right?â
âYeah,â Jaime said quickly, âYeah, Iâm okay with it.â
The snow didnât seem so bad anymore.
...
âHaving fun?â
Jaime wasnât sure how long theyâd been sitting there when they turned around to see Cassie and Barbara smirking.
âItâs cold,â He said defensively.
âWell, you two can go back to the Watchtower and warm up now if you want,â Barbara said, badly hiding her smile, âCassie and I can take over.â
Jaime knew Bart usually liked to hurry, but he walked pretty slowly towards the Zeta Tube, staying with him instead of running ahead like he usually did.
âSo I guess it doesnât really snow in Texas,â He said awkwardly.
âNot usually,â Jaime agreed, âYou know, it actually is nice here. Wanna stick around a little longer?â
âUh, sure,â Bart said, surprised.
They walked through the park, talking about little bits of nothing as it got darker. Jaime wasnât 100% sure if this specific park would do anything like he was hoping for it to do, but hopefully...
Suddenly, lights went on everywhere. Tiny lights, like fairies, in a million colors, arranged in different patterns. Some of them were shaped like icicles, some just regular lightbulbs. Bart stared at it all, amazed.
âThereâs nothing like this in the future,â Bart marveled.
âDo you like it?â Jaime asked.
âLike it?â Bart asked, âItâs beautiful! And amazing! Did you know this was going to happen?â
âItâs Christmas season,â Jaime said, âI had a hunch. I thought youâd want to see it.â
âYou waited around even though you hate the cold, because you wanted me to see this?â Bart asked.
Jaime looked at his feet, âWhen you told me you liked me a couple months ago, I didnât know what to say. Iâd never even considered thinking of you as anything but my best friend. But I started thinking about it more and more, and... I like you, too, Bart.â
âReally?â Bart asked.
âYeah, Iââ
Bart cut him off by kissing him.
Jaime was shocked, obviously, but he melted into it. It felt warm, and right, and he wondered why heâd taken so long to realize this would work.
When they pulled apart, they were both blushing like idiots.
âUm, we should get back to the Watchtower,â Bart said, âI promised Gar Iâd help him decorate for this big Christmas party he planned. You wanna help, too? Gar kind of bought too much decorations; weâre going to need everyone we can get.â
âThe League okayed a party up there?â
âNo. Theyâre welcome to come, but they canât say no if you donât ask.â
Jaime laughed, âWhy not? Sure, Iâll help you decorate.â
As they walked back to the Zeta Tube, Jaimeâs arm around Bartâs shoulders, they didnât notice Cassie and Barbara talking and watching them through binoculars.
âMission accomplished,â Cassie said, high-fiving Barbara, âOperation Bluepulse has succeeded.â
âWhat are we going to tell them about why weâre not staking out that guy we had them watch for four hours anymore?â
âNothing. Weâll just hang out around here for a few hours and tell them we found out it was a false alarm.â
Barbara shrugged, âWe probably shouldnât have had them stalk a random person for four hours, though.â
âEh. The guy didnât notice them, anyway. No harm done. And now theyâre together, so thatâs a bonus.â
It turned out the League was fine with the Christmas party. But there may or may not have been several incidents involving mistletoe and various couples.

Summary:
Bart has a nightmare while at a sleepover at Jaime's house. Khaji Da comforts him.
Bart woke with a start. Suddenly, he couldn't breathe, couldn't think. His heart was pounding in his ears, and his feet were tingling strangely.
"Bart Allen?" came a voice from the dark. Oh, right. He was at Jaime's house for a sleepover. The trouble was, Bart couldn't answer, he was too busy trying to breathe.
"Come here," Khaji grabbed Bart from under his arms, pulling him into his lap, and Bart found that he had fully suited up, becoming more Khaji Da than Jaime Reyes. He pulled Bart toward his chest and held him there steadily.
Bart knew he shouldn't cry. He knew that Khaji only partially understood human emotion, and would probably panic if he started crying.
"It's alright Bart; you are safe. We will protect you." That didn't help, like, at all. Tears sprung out of Bart's eyes as his breath hitched, trying to stop, to contain the emotion welling up inside him, but it didn't work. Bart pressed into Khaji's shoulder, and Khaji just held him tighter, rubbing circles in his back and whispering sweet nothings in his ear as he sobbed.
He didn't know how Khaji did it. Sure, he was getting more and more human each day, but this is something even most humans would feel uncomfortable.
"What was your dream about? I am told telling another helps with the pain." Khaji whispered in Bart's ear.
Images flooded his head. The Blue Beetle from the future, coming to take Jaime and Khaji away, Jaime's screams as he yelled "I'll find you! I'll find you!!". The Reach scientists, poking and prodding him, as right across the hall, Jaime's screams echoed for all to hear. But they didn't care. The Reach didn't care about love or fear or hate or sentience, they were just parasites, sucking each planet dry of everything they had to offer, stealing babies and lovers and lives, only for the sake of science and productiveness. It was sick.
"Bart!"Khaji was shaking him slightly, looking into his eyes like Bart was going to keel over and die any second now. "You're okay. You're safe. I'm here, Jaime's here, you're safe. Whatever it is, we have you, We love you."
Tears began flowing freely again, but not nearly as rapidly. Bart sunk into Khaji, breathing deeply. "Thank you,"
Khaji Da began to lay back down, taking Bart with him. "Bart Allen. You are ours, and we are yours. Whatever ails you, be it nightmares or enemies, we will slay them. They will be terminated, viciously, and we shall care for you in the aftermath,"
Bart sighed, sinking deeper into Khaji's body. He knew he would have more nightmares, they were an inevitability, but Jaime and Khaji Da would be there to comfort him, that's all that mattered.

Bluepulse Week day 7: Free Day
Been thinking bout how Bart probably doesnât know what music even is because thereâs no music in his future, and so Jaime would have to teach him about it.
Bluepulse Week - Day 5: Colors/Seasons
It seemed like everyone in the world had a specific season they they just thrived during. Sometimes it had to do with personality, other times it was more so a matter preferred color palettes or fashion aesthetics. Looking around at his friends, Jaime could pinpoint pretty easily what time of year fit who the best.
Gar did best in the spring, when the flowers bloomed, animals were out, and everything was all around green.
Summer was reserved for the more happy-go-lucky members of the team; like Mâgann or Dick. The people who always seemed to bring smiles to everyoneâs faces and brighten the mood on what could have otherwise been a sour day.
Personally, Jaime pegged himself as more of a winter. Winter was cold, and while he didn't consider himself cold-hearted by any means, he wasn't exactly warm and fuzzy. He was well aware how awkward and standoffish he could appear when meeting someone; his mother always did say first impressions were the most important.
Winter was constantly colored in blue and white, and while white wasn't exactly his color⊠Well⊠Blue was in his name. Blue was the color of his suit, heck, it was the color permanently fused into his spine. So Jaime had to be winter.
It fit him⊠Didn't it?
But fall? Autumn? It was as if everything about that season was designed for one person in particular. Autumn was just for Bart. In all seventeen years of his life, Jaime had never met someone who so perfectly reflected everything a seemingly arbitrary collection of months had to offer. But somehow, against all odds, Bart did just that.
Bart was brilliant red and burnt orange, crossing over butternut squash and an hazelnut to make an earthy plaid. He was the rainbow of leaves that all change colors, falling at different times, but matching so effortlessly with his auburn hair. He was stepping on each one, hearing that satisfying crunch, sometimes almost too quickly when the speedster would run.
He was a hand-me-down flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Wearing the same free tee shirt he got at the Keystone county fair over and over again because he thought the cartoon pig on the front looked funny. Not being sure if he should bring a jacket or not because the morning was such a different temperature from the afternoon. Bart was the scent of nutmeg and cinnamon in decaf iced latte; decaf because he most definitely did not need the energy boost, and iced because the guy would always swear up and down that he could handle the cold drink, even when it was chilly out, but heâd always start shivering not even halfway through it, so he always ends up stealing Jaimeâs hot apple cider.
The speedster was an all you can eat pumpkin pie, smothered in whipped cream until you couldnât see the pastry any more. He was hot apple crumble, fresh out of the oven, slightly burnt and a little two tart because someone forgot to buy sugar again. Bart was apple spice body soaps and butterscotch hand creams, because his skin would crack from wearing gray and black striped fingerless gloves too long.
Bart was tearing down country backroads, where pavement turned to gravel and dusts, running just a step below top speed, because it made the leave swirl behind him like a little tornado. The brightest smile Jaime had ever seen in his entire life was plastered across the speedsters face. It was enchanting. Yeah. Bart Allen thrived in the fall.
There was only one time Jaime ever brought this little quarry up; while Bart laughed through the many layers of a knit scare that was way too long for him.
âFall is your season.â The words slips out before he actually had the time to think about it.
Pale green eyes looked up in a cocktail of wonder and amusement. âWhaddaya mean?â
Jaime brought a hand up and scratched the back of his neck. He looked down at his feet and kicked the toe of his converse sneakers into the mud-covered pavement the currently stood on. âYou remind me of the fall.â
âThatâs cute.â There was a slight crackle in Bartâs voice as he laughed. He reached a hand into Jaimeâs sweatshirt pocket for one of his hands, intertwining their fingers. âItâs kinda funny though. You remind me of a season too.â
âWhat? Which one?â
âIsnât it obvious?â Bart beamed up at Jaime, an eyebrow raised to highlight just how strongly he believed in this. âYou remind me of summer.â
