He fells cheaply made - to the point of ridiculousness when it kills the show. Its not that he is black, its how he is played, written, how make up and visual effects are made - there is something wrong here... Miscasting, cheap visuals, they really fucked it all up. Sometimes its better to play it safe and leave it as it was in original material. This time anti white-washng has gone horribly wrong.

And this is clearly case of this particular script writer its another show of his that has awesome beginning, fucked or kinda none existent ending.

They should leave Manhattans blue entity as it was in commics. This Mannhatan... its just too much. Why not to go further and make him transsexual? Blueish draq queen Manhattana would be quite something. Rendering him naked with dangling dick and huge tits - it would be something worth watching. Or maybe he should change/switch race and gender from time to time? That would be really cosmic political correctness. But that wouldn't be Manhattan, it would be dr Caleidoscope.

I ve made quickly on ios, my own versions - saturated as fuck but they are not worse than original Dr Blackhattan.
