“I was invited though?” Jirard cocked his head and fished out an invitation. “I’m actually supposed to be speaking at this panel.”It was a small panel at the arcade about arcade history and the impacts of arcades on tattooing. It was open to the public, but all of the Asagao gaming clubs had been invited to attend. The owner of the arcade had asked Jirard to be the master of ceremonies just due to his likability and knowledge of the material.“It’s also and open event with free food, so I don’t think you can act as a bouncer today Jade.”A few years ago this type of comment would have cause Jirard to flee into some obscure corner of the abyss. However, since the Normal Boots club, his confidence in himself had soared. he really liked who he was, and apparently other people did too. Hell, he was about to MC panel with a bunch of new wave arcade developers! One was the artist of Pitchfork Wizard!
