Weird random question. What do you think of Cybertronians scanning animatronics as their alt mode instead of a vehicle? Like, TFA had the dinobots being originally dinosaur animatronics. But imagine, Cybertronians disguising as Chuckey Cheese animatronics, or park ride animatronics? Imagine them disguising as human-like animatronics. IDK.
A more serious answer, I don't think they would really go for it. Unless they were stationed/based/hiding in some kinda amusement park or other, but even then. There's not really a practical use for it? Anywhere else other than the initial setting and they'd stick out wildly. Plus, depending on the animatronic and the size of the Cybertronian, like the dinobots were fine cuz the animatronics were big, but stuff like Chuck E Cheese guys would be much harder to pull off and they'd be bigger versions of said animatronics, cuz realistically, you can only pack things so tight within a frame.
The silly answer being, I think it would be hilarious and possibly terrifying depending on the route you wanna take it! Looooootta chaos could happen.

Hi there! I love your art so much! Your Transformers are so shaped. Thank you for your services of providing us with Shockblur and TFA Shockwave content. And, I will say, that thanks to your postings, I've rewatched TFA again and I drew my design of Shockwave (I wanted him to feel stretchy in my design, because I keep having this imagery of his neck stretching and searching a room because he swore he saw something or someone in there. Also, fun fact, his head or face or idk has these weird teeth, you can see it, and I have this imagery of his face closing up and tearing off someone's arm as it closes up. Surprise attack lol). I wanna know what you think of him and maybe if you can draw him next to TFA Shockwave? I'm sorry, I just really love my purple cyclops mad scientist robot husband so much. Have a nice day!
