#blue muse

En esa noche helada, donde mi corazón solía ser nieve y tú fuego. Donde no había cariño, solo instinto por encontrar una salida.

No sé qué es esto, no sé qué hay aquí dentro. Solo distingo un par de latidos que pronuncian tu nombre, como una triste sinfonía, lenta y dolorosa. Das pasos inseguros en este baile, queriendo ir deprisa, yendo por la primera estrofa. Pisándome y disculpándote, inocencia parecía tu apellido.

Te aseguro que éramos principiantes, sin rumbo, siguiendo la marea; sin darnos cuenta de que eso mismo nos haría ahogarnos.

No me pidas que te quiera, no lo hagas. Querer es poseer, yo solo quiero tu poesía. La que me arrastra a tu lado, en todos los pareados que hablan de nosotros, dos enamorados que no saben que lo están; o no quieren saberlo. Dos versos que alaban nuestra falta de experiencia, y brindan por nuestra ignorancia, por nuestra felicidad momentánea. 

Viviendo de instantes, de una triste sonrisa de despedida, y de unos brazos que nos arroparán en delirios. 

Me preguntaron por el amor, y les hablé de ti. De un nosotros soñado, en algún lugar donde permaneceremos durante la eternidad. [Mis recuerdos].

“Aww...” Blue giggles. “It’s kinda cute...”

“...I don’t see how. It is cold, though.” Right as Yellow says this, Blue bites into the ice cream sandwich, cringing at the cold.

“Teef’--” Awkwardly, Blue manages to swallow down the piece of Cookie Cat, shuddering a little. “You-- I think you’re supposed to use your teeth... Bite it off.”

Yellow raises an eyebrow. “Oh... That... actually makes sense.”

Blue takes another bite, this time more careful, while the other gem awkwardly mimics her.

“Wow... They taste really good once you get past the coldness.”

Send my muse a food or a drink and they will have to eat or drink it!

“Isn’t a dog one of those furry little animal things?” Yellow uneasily pokes at the food. “Is it made out of dog?”

She turns to Blue to see that the other pearl has already stuffed nearly half of the hot dog into her mouth. She doesn’t seem to know what to do next.

“...Blue.”

Yellow sighs and starts ripping her own hot dog into multiple smaller pieces. “This is probably how you’re supposed to do it.” And she just. Swallows one of them.

“Yellow?” Blue takes her own ‘dog out of her mouth.

No reply.

“It’s stuck in your throat, isn’t it?”

A nod.

“...This was a bad idea?”
