Target was just another Topaz in a squad. But all she wanted to do was fly. She managed to convince a Nephrite to give her basic lessons, with the excuse of emergency situations and what if the pilot gets Poofed?!? When Red Moonstone announced her rebellion, and invited others to join her, Target quite literally crashed through her squad to defend Moon, and took to the skies. She’s cocky, self-confident, and brash, but she flies the bulky Shatterthorn like a leaf on the wind.

Trinket was the Pearl of a high ranking Gray Sapphirine known for her ability to predict technological failures. Unknown to most everyone, it was her Pearl who was sneaking into sites and examining the devices, and feeding the information to her Owner. Secret, the high ranking Kyanite, figured out Something Was Up, and was in the process of relaying the information to Her Diamond when Gray Sapphirine finally had an Actual Vision of her future shattering, and declared that Trinket had been sabotaging the colony. Before Trinket could protest she was Poofed. When she reformed, to the apologies of a Kyanite(?), the ship full of rebels(?!), and a promise that she could free her fellow Pearls, she latched on to this bright chance and never looked back. Now Trinket works as the head of Mechanics and Repair on the Shatterthorn, keeping the old clod and her makeshift fleet in top shape.

Aydee was the 80th Blue Jade in a line of experimental Jades, with 100 generated. As it turned out, while they were subpar at being Part Of The Courts (too soft, too emotional, too anxious, but loyal to a fault), they were excellent power sources, and all were promptly Harvested and scattered to the stars. When Aydee reincorporated, she was devastated and panicked to find herself alone. But in a ship full of anxious and frightened gems, her instincts kicked in, and she started comforting others, pushing her own fears back. As the years have passed, she’s been reunited with nearly a quarter of her fellow Blue Jades, and learned to process her own fears as well as treat her fellow gems flaws and anxieties.

My own take on the gems that make up Fluorite ! They are my babies now

Grandidierite - the navel gem: Ranked between Jades and Lazulis, Grandidierite would act as record keepers for homeworld, using their wings to fly between shelves of scrolls, books, and memory banks. The one in Fluorite - dubbed "Didi" - has very bad memory problems and was deemed defective soon after she was created.

The Jades: Pink and Blue were from Blue Diamond's court, and Green was from Yellow's. They all hatched a plan to run away together over many years of meetings, trying to cover all their bases. Their time in the abandoned kindergarten was supposed to be temporary, but they ran into their other components while there.

Lavender Pearl: a Pearl belonging to an Agate, she worked alongside Peridots at a kindergarten on a nearby planet, tasked with keeping things organized and assisting her Agate with directing newly formed gems. She took a particular interest in an overcooked Gray Quartz who Agate liked to target, and the two ran away together.

Gray Quartz: The aforementioned quartz from Pearl's kindergarten. The first runt to come out there, and despite being doted on by her sisters, Agate's constant bullying got under her skin. She's an excellent fighter and loved her family, but the harassment got to be too much and she eloped with Pearl to get away from it all.
